The cure is discipline
Our society is sick because our people are sad.
People are sad because they want to be healthy and sexy but they aren't. They look in the mirror and see a gap between who they are and who they want to be. And it hurts. Being healthy and sexy is natural and feels good. Do you know what else feels good? Being financially secure.
But almost everyone is failing to get either of these. Why?
Their parents failed to teach them one lesson: if you want something, every single action of yours must align with that desire. And actions that get in the way must stop.
Do you think David Goggins, an ultramarathon runner, has beers on Saturday night or birthday cake at the office?
Do you think Sam Ovens, a Kiwi selfmade millionaire, is up-to-date with Game of Thrones?
The answer is no. Because they understand that those things get in the way of what they want. And life hurts when you don't get what you want.
Lollies, drinks and inactivity are sabotaging our long-term happiness. We are sick and the cure is discipline.
